For average use (3 times per week), we expect our bars to last approximately 3 months, although they can last even longer if your hair isn’t very thick!

In fact, many of our customers with keratin treatments use these bars to extend the life of their treatment while keeping their hair soft, frizz-free, and healthy.

Yes, we use exclusively recycled materials such as recycled paper and recycled cardboard boxes to ship all of our orders to ensure we cause no additional waste.
Our bars are made from natural ingredients and contain zero plastic packaging, meaning once your bar is used, you leave no waste in your bathroom (or anywhere else!), keeping your bathroom clean and sustainable.
Since shampoo bars don’t use water (unlike liquid shampoo) you also reduce your water consumption during your shower time!
We avoid using plastics and other single use materials in our processes as much as possible in order to ensure we help protect our planet.
We ship all our orders with AusPost, who are carbon neutral too.

Loving the shank and conditioner bars. Have tried the coconut shampoo and blueberry conditioner so far. Would love if you can please make the font for shampoo and conditioner bigger so I can read when in shower without my glasses 🤓

Great smell and my curls have definitely enjoyed this conditioner. Have to use a bit more than recommend for a proper co-wash, but the mileage has been decent so far. Drilled a few holes through the tin to assist in the bar drying more quickly.

I have thick, unruly hair that doesn't always feel nice with my previous salon shampoo and conditioner. I have been using a number of different shampoo and conditioner bars from a number of different places. At the moment, I am using the blueberry set from silky bars and am finding them very good. I like the small tins that they come in as they are good for travelling (not that I have done that of late but will and these tins will make transporting Shampoo and Conditioner so much easier). I use the tins as 'lids' over the bars when they are not in use (as in between showers and shampoos). I have an open slotted soap dish under them and their tin sitting over them. The tins keep the water off, but the open bottom lets them dry out between use. I have used them 3 or 4 times now and I really like the smell of them as you lather your hair. My daughter is also using them on her hair too and is liking them. My only complaint is that the shampoo bar is dwindling quicker than the conditioner so I will have to get a second shampoo bar to go with the conditioner to finish together. Some of the other places I have bought from have bigger shampoo bars and smaller conditioners which would make it easier to know which is which by the size of the tin (bigger one is shampoo, smaller one is conditioner) as in the shower I don't wear my glasses so it makes reading labels a little difficult. All in all, we are enjoying these bars.

Smells devine
It does not lather with water. I understand that conditioner does not lather in the same way as a shampoo, but even adding water takes an incredibly long time and a heap of effort to barely get a detangle, let alone an actual conditioner. Either running it all over the head for five minutes or attempting to rub it between palms to get anything out of it does the same thing. If i had had any other option on my holiday, I would have taken it.

Our conditioner bars don't lather (just like a liquid shampoo) so it can feel like it's not doing anything initially, but after warming it up under hot water for 15 seconds, your bar should be nice and soft in your hand and the effect should be noticeable after using it for just 10 seconds or so. If you still don't like your bar, please email us at info@silkybars.com.au and we can sort out a refund.
Best Shampoo/Conditioner bars I've ever used, and possibly the best shampoo/conditioner in general I've used. I cannot fault these one bit, considering i have long thick wavy hair they worked so well. My hair felt clean, full of volume and smelt amazing. My new favourite products!

Why don’t you take them out of the container? You can’t work out which one shampoo and conditioner? I tried to send a message but the social media people just ignored it really is a waste. Wouldn’t buy again. Wouldn’t recommend.
